Albuquerque Water Gardens, located in the historic North Valley Los Duranes neighborhood, is Albuquerque's premier water garden supplier. As the #1 grower of aquatic plants, Albuquerque Water Gardens not only serves the New Mexico area, but also has many customers from Arizona, Colorado, Texas and Oklahoma.
Albuquerque Water Gardens has gained a reputation of excellence since its inception in 1994.

Water lilies are some of the more common types of plants found at Albuquerque Water Gardens and they are well known for their "tropical" water lilies. However, there are over 150 varieties of aquatic plants grown on location and Albuquerque Water Gardens participates in the "New Mexico Grown" program sponsored by the State of New Mexico.
Besides aquatics, also grown is a large variety of native and drought tolerant perennials thanks to the extensive background and horticultural experience of its team members..

Despite the small location, the facility is stocked with energy efficient pumps, filters, tubing, fittings, EPDM liner, growing containers, nets, statuary, spitters and of course fish, which includes Goldfish, Koi, Shubunkin, Fantails and the always popular Gambusia (Mosquito Fish).

Water gardening is like no other gardening, and the team members are willing and able to guide it's customers from the conception of a pond, through construction and to the final installation of plants and fish as well as guiding pond owners through the changing seasons of our area. As our desert climate offers challenges to the pond owner, the staff is conciencious of water usage, and urges it’s clientele towards environmentally conscious pesticide and herbicide-free gardening.

Whether or not you have a water garden and have the joy of the relaxing sound of water at your disposal, you are more than welcome to visit us at Albuquerque Water Gardens. We are also featured as a destination place on one of the City of Albuquerque’s Walking Tours.
