What are your hours of operation?
We are open Tuesday thru Saturday 10:00 AM to 5:00 PM. March thru October, and by appointment November thru February.

How do we get to your location?
To find us head west on Rice (between I-40 and Indian School) from Rio Grande Blvd. toward the 4 way-stop. Continue straight thru the 4 way and we are the 6th house on the south side (left) of the street. click to see map

Do you carry the rubber liner?
We do carry the 45 mil. EPDM rubber liner and will cut a rectangular piece to fit the project. We also carry the seam tape for adhering two pieces of liner together.

Do you carry pumps?
Yes we do carry a very nice selection of magnetically driven energy efficient pumps from
80 GPH to 3600 GPH.

Do you clean ponds?
No, we do not clean ponds but we rent out a vacuum to do it yourself or call us and we can recommend someone to do it for you.

Do you repot plants?
Yes we do repot any of the aquatics but we ask that you call us first to make arrangements.

How do I calculate the gallons in my pond?
To calculate the gallons use the following formula. Length X Width X Depth X 7.5 = Gallons for a rectangular and odd shaped pond. Length X Width X Depth X 5.9 = Gallons for a round pond.

How deep should my pond be?
In the Albuquerque area your pond can be any where from 12” to 24”. If you are interested in keeping Koi I recommend 24” to 36”.

Do I need to run my pump all the time?
Not really, but oxygen levels need to be maintained in the pond and by adding oxygenating plants you can accomplish this.

How often do I feed my plants?
Lilies need to be fed at least once a month during the growing season (April thru September) and marginals at least once a year.

Should I feed my fish?
Goldfish, Fantails, Shubunkin and Gambusia can live off the pond so force them to eat the algae (their natural food). Koi on the other hand need supplemental food and they like their veggies. Check our PONDOMETER for temperature ranges and feeding guidelines.
